Yahoo has posted a video interview with several of the people who worked with Benie Mac on his new movie Soul Men, which opened today. Some of the interviewees include Samuel L. Jackon (Mac's costar in the movie) as well as the film's director, Malcolm D. Lee. It's definitely worth a watch and made made me much more interested in seeing the movie as well. I enjoyed his tv show a good deal. How would you compare him to Bill Cosby?
Bernie Mac won't be remembered the way Bill Cosby will, mostly because he didn't revolutionize comedy to the extent that Cosby did. However, he will be remembered nonetheless. Much like Cosby, Mac was more than just funny - he was warm, familiar, and most importantly, he had heart.
